Evaluation of INSPIRE implementation in France by computing indicators and analysing data with Daobs application

Abstract

The French GeoCatalogue (www.geocatalogue.fr) collects informations (metadata) about geographical data from a hundred of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) in France. Since 2010, BRGM - for the Ministry of Environment - computes from these informations the indicators for INSPIRE monitoring, in order to evaluate the implementation of the directive. Since 2016, the Daobs opensource application is used to compute personalizable indicators and create dashboards, in order to analyse geographical data and services at different scales (from local to european level) and time series (e.g. the evolution of the number of data for geology theme between 2013 and 2016).
